Finally back to working in Photoshop. This is the second painting I worked on this week. Started this speed painting last night, worked for two hours, then took another hour this morning. Considering how rusty I am with Photoshop, I'm rather pleased with the results.
There are a few anatomy issues, but I'm okay with them for now.

This was from a dream I had this week. It was a long dream. I wrote down the entire thing when I woke up, while doing so I got inspired to work on this picture.

A mysterious girl walked towards three snow covered towns. She was tired and cold from walking all day. Her red pixie hair cut did little to keep her head protected from the wind. Her hat had flown away some time ago in the frigged winds. The scarf helped, but not enough.

At long last she managed to make it to the edge of the ice filled lake. Her exhaustion was running thin now. Going around the lake would take three times as long. Any common sense told her that she would never make it. Even now, it was possible she wouldn't. Legends about the never melting lake were well known around the country.
Half way across, she could the onset of exhaustion double. She didn't have long. Taking a moment to catch her breath she had to press on. She was about to move again, but something caught her attention. In the center of the lake a soft haze hung over the ice. There was no snow, no wind, just the gentle whistle of the outside storm. Her knees touched down as she wavered. The loose snow rolled over the surface gently. There staring out at her from the ice was a pale woman. Her long hair fanned out as if moving in water. The girl stared transfixed by the sight, when the woman blinked at her. The shock knocked her backward to the floor. Light shot out through the lake, and the girl fainted.

That's one snippet from my dream. My dreams have been weird as of late. I started another one with the woman in ice, but I don't know if I'll get around to finishing it any time soon.
This is good enough for a returning piece! I'm back DA~! haha.
