Bounded Feathers

A conceptual piece I worked on for a while. Original character Mari, displaying the theme of the story. Not that the story theme needs to be explained but Might be short of fun.

Mari's lives in a world governed by two forces the light forced is the magic stream that runs through and controls the world. Human impact caused portions within the stream to become corrupted taking over the surface world.

Mari's family blood line is part of ancient ruling that is able to connect with the magic stream allowing it to utalize within her body. Connecting with the stream is dangerous and if connected to long can kill the human body, or result in perminate connection to the stream.

There is a lot of other jibber jabber in the picture that deals with her inner struggles about love, confidence and other issues, is too tired to explain, hehe. She is a character I draw a lot, so more things within her story get revealed, but later. hehe.

This picture I wanted to use only base colors seeing as I am trying a new style out. Not sure how it turned out but I like the looks so far. hehe. Let me know what you all thinks about it. Okay bed now. hehe
